1. Acceptance

By accessing or using this website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

This site is intended for business users. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your company.

3. Scope of services

This site is a marketing and information portal for ZZ Scales weighing products. It is not an online store. No sale is concluded on this site; sales are completed only via a signed Pro-forma Invoice and Purchase Agreement.

4. RFQ submission rules

Information you submit must be accurate and complete.

No automated or bulk submissions.

We may decline enquiries that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

All text, images, logos, videos, datasheets, and other content on this site are owned by ZZ Scales or its licensors. You may view and print content for personal evaluation; you may not copy, mirror, scrape, or commercially reuse it without written permission.

Content you submit to us (inquiries, drawings, specifications) is licensed to ZZ Scales solely for the purpose of responding to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the site for unlawful purposes or in violation of export, sanctions, or anti-bribery laws.

Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site without written authorisation.

Scrape, frame, or mirror the site, or use automated means to access it beyond normal browsing.

Submit false, misleading, or infringing content.

7. Product information and certifications

Specifications, photos, dimensions, and capacity ratings are for information only and may change without notice.

ZZ Scales products conform to applicable regulations including CE (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC), UKCA, FCC Part 15, RoHS, OIML R76 / R60, and select models carry NTEP / Measurement Canada approvals where required. Certificates and Declarations of Conformity are available on request. “Legal-for-trade” use requires local type approval, verification, and sealing by the competent authority.

8. Quotations and pricing

All prices are in USD and exclusive of VAT, GST, and import duties unless stated otherwise.

Quoted Incoterms (FOB Ningbo / Shanghai / Shenzhen) follow ICC Incoterms 2020.

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless extended in writing.

OEM / ODM tooling and moulding charges are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or specification errors.

9. Trade and export compliance

You are responsible for compliance with the import and customs regulations of your destination country, including but not limited to classification, duties, Section 301 tariffs, anti-dumping and countervailing duties, UFLPA supply-chain requirements, and sanctions screening.

ZZ Scales does not transact with parties on applicable restricted-party lists (OFAC SDN, BIS Entity / Denied Persons / Unverified Lists, EU / UK consolidated lists, MOFCOM Unreliable Entity List). We may suspend or refuse any transaction that would violate applicable export controls or sanctions.

10. Payment terms

Standard payment is 30% T/T deposit upon order confirmation and 70% T/T balance against B/L copy. Letter of Credit (irrevocable, at sight, confirmed) and Open Account terms may be considered for established buyers.

Late amounts accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.

11. Delivery and force majeure

Lead times are estimates, not guarantees. Neither party is liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, sanctions, embargo, pandemic, government action, port or carrier disruption, factory or supplier failure, raw-material or energy shortage, or cyberattack.

The affected party shall give prompt notice and use reasonable efforts to mitigate. If a force-majeure event continues for more than 60 days, either party may terminate affected undelivered quantities without liability.

12. Warranty

ZZ Scales warrants that Products will conform in all material respects to ZZ Scales’ written specifications and be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the B/L date, subject to the operating and installation conditions in the user manual.

This warranty does not cover normal wear, consumables, batteries, overloading, shock, corrosion, improper installation or foundation, unauthorised modification or repair, use outside environmental specifications, or any use for which local legal-for-trade approval is required but not obtained.

Warranty is between ZZ Scales and the original buyer and is not assignable.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZZ Scales’ aggregate liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for the affected Product.

Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, production, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence).

14. Indemnification

You will indemnify ZZ Scales against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site or any Product, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party right.

15. Confidentiality

Each party will treat non-public commercial, technical, or pricing information disclosed by the other party as confidential and use it only for the purposes of the relevant transaction. This obligation survives termination.

16. Anti-bribery

Both parties agree to comply with all applicable anti-bribery laws, including the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the PRC Anti-Unfair Competition Law.

17. Third-party content

Links to, or embeds of, third-party sites and platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Alibaba, etc.) are provided for convenience. ZZ Scales does not endorse and is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
